Within Reach Movie is a project of the Fellowship for Intentional Community,

a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Our Mission is to share inspiration and education about sustainable communities throughout the USA, and tell the story of how Ryan and Mandy went from cars and houses to bicycles and tents in search of a joy-filled, sustainable life.  In 2008-2010, Mandy and Ryan bike-packed 6,500 miles around the USA using solar-powered electronics and leg-powered bicycles to visit 100 sustainable communities. The project depicts their realistic experience of seeking out and living in a sustainable community, and lessons learned along the way to bring us all hope that yes, it is possible for us all to live in a sustainable way.
